Bord Bia, the Irish aliment Board, has criticised government backing in the UK for supermarkets' promotion of British beef. Bord Bia says it is considering responding by dint of branding Irish beef in a bid to obstruct supermarkets buying it at a discount, unless selling it at the same price as British beef.
