Big Russian, Ukrainian and EU malleable wheat surpluses continue to contrast with dwindling world hard-wheat supplies, widening differentials in a multi-tier market.
Canadian/US prime hard wheats have lately been offered as much as $75/tonne above the value of US malleable Red Winter wheat, $110 from one side of to the other French and $135 above Ukrainian pliable wheat. This time last year, before clips began to fail in several hard-wheat-producing countries, prime hard wheats were trading and nothing else some $30-35 above US/EU soft-wheat values.
